What point and shoot digital camera should my mom get?
My mom has been wanting a point and shoot digital camera and I am trying to find the right one for her. She’s looking for something simple, preferrably with some zoom. Something that is durable with a decent battery life and has good image quality and a couple top of the line features. I was looking at a Canon Powershot A1100 IS but I hear it’s battery life is bad so is there another camera similar to it that is just as good and better with batteries? Not looking to spend over $175 if possible.
The Canon A1000 IS. It has more than double the battery life than the A1100 IS. I bought this camera for my daughter last week on line and paid $154+$6 shipping.
There’s also the Canon SD1200 IS which has a better battery life than the A1100 IS.
The Canon A1000 IS and the Canon SD1200 IS have very good image quality.
