Help with Sony Camcorder ( DCR DVD 308 )?
im trying to get my movies (scenes) onto my laptop.
I connected the USB cord to my computer and camcorder.
My camcorder has a blue screen on it saying ” Connecting do not unplug camera or computer”.
Its been like this for about 30 mins now, and when i try to open up one of my “movie maker” programs, its saying that “there is no device detected.”
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Or how to upload my videos/scenes from my camcorder to my computer.
Ultimately i want to be able to switch scenes around and delete some and burn to a bigger/normal sized dvd.

You do not use any cable with a DVD camera you should try it this way
Use a programme such as Ulead VideoStudio – you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally in the little depression made for it. You may have to ‘finalise’ the mini DVD your camera manual will tell you how to do that.
Inside VideoStudio you select “Insert DVD” and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can edit it – add lots of different videos together – move scenes around – add titles/music/narration – and finally burn to a full size DVD to play in a standard player.

How many photos can you take on a Sony Cybershot DSC-W270 without a memory card?
i got the camera today and was planning to use it at my party tomorrow however it doesnt come with a memory card and i wont be able to get one until after the weekend. How many photos could i take without one?
Whenever I have a question/problem such as yours, I read the user’s guide (aka “the manual”). It is amazing just how much I always learn from that.
If that doesn’t help, I check the manufacturer’s website. They have descriptions and specs for their cameras, often have user forums, and the decent manufacturers let you download the manuals in electronic form.
99% of the time that does the trick.
By the way, memory cards are sold in soooo many different stores these days! Unless you live in the jungle, there is a fairly good chance you could pick one up nearby, even though it probably won’t be at the best possible price.

What do you think about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX1 Digital Camera?
I’m thinking about buying Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX1. What do you think about it? I read few reviews,and some of them say that picture quality isn’t the best. Right now I have Sony T90. It’s the best digital camera I ever had. The picture quality is outstanding. So,is TX1’s picture quality as good as T90?
